This is an interesting Board and depends on how it is bid.

First option E bids 1S, why, this is very strong S suit and they want to see what partner bids. S with a 6 card C suit, with AD and singleton H could bid 2C. W with 4 card support for S bids 2S, WHY, they should invoke rule of total trumps. They know E has at least a 5 card S suit, plus 4 cards totalling 9, the actual response should be 3S. N turn with a 5 clubs and a void in S should bid 5C. Although if they revalue their hand they could use 4NT, Roman key card. Response is 4H 2 aces. Assuming E has A of Spades, N can bid 6C.

You are all saying this is highly unlikely but I did see this opening bid.

Second option which was probably the most popular opening bid would be 3S, S would pass and W with 4 card support would bid 4S. N still has the option of X as they have no S and could accept any bid from partner. It would appear this way path taken by some pairs as there were about 6 pairs in 5C.

The makeables show you can only make 1S, why. Opening lead from S 10H, singleton, which partner wins with AH and you should always return your partner’s lead when you win, a small H which is ruffled by S, S leads a C back to partner which is won by N with KC. N leads another H which is again ruffed by S. As there are no more C in dummy, S plays AD and then leads D to partner who wins with K.

6 tricks to NS and EW has not played a trump.
